Traffic Safety
was established in 1981 as a private company, owned by the
Haifa-based Schweiger family. The company employs a staff
of twenty-five, and performs projects throughout the country.
During its early years, Traffic Safety provided road safety
equipment, including directional flashlights, as well as
additional hard-to-find equipment. In the early 1990's,
the company began to undertake traffic safety projects.
As the most experienced Israeli company of its kind, Traffic
Safety handles all aspects of the project, including road
painting; manufacturing and marketing traffic signs, signposts,
and additional safety devices; permanent and temporary safety
fences; worksite security; as well as temporary traffic
arrangements planned by our company's engineer. Among our
customers are: Israel Police, Ministry of Transport, Public
Works Department, IDF, Israel Electric, infrastructure and
development contractors, public institutions, municipalities,
and more.
Since 1998, the company has been operating in compliance with the Israeli ISO 9002 standard.
In 2003, the company was ISO 9002-2000 certified. The certification includes:
Road marking and painting
Manufacture and installation of road signs and traffic lights
Worksite security and cat eye installation
Planning temporary traffic arrangements in worksites
